There was a time when writing about these things were almost automatic. A few years ago, I had all the time to write about weddings as soon as I got home from shooting one. I always thought it could go on and on. Luckily, life happened. And while I do wish I could write a little bit more, there are a few other important things to attend to. Still, I will try as much to write about photography assignments. We’ll see.

I was supposed to shoot this wedding with Tim but there were unforeseen things, so I went ahead and shot by myself.

All of these happened in Liloan, so the drive from the house was quite long. Good thing, I enjoy long drives and coffee stops. I took my time because Bela & Jigs wanted a very chill day. Chill, I did.

When I learned that they moved the church from Danao to Liloan, it became even more chill. I took my time and only clicked the shutter when I thought I needed to which is not often, if you ask me. I also didn’t take too many pictures but everyone was taken cared off by Jigs & Bela. Food and drinks never ran out. Pancit, lumpia, soft drinks, instant coffee and lechon paksiw.
After the ceremony, we took a few photos outside the church but Bela was already tired and asked for only a few photos. I happily obliged as soon as I saw these cosmos flowers outside.

If there was one detail that stood out, it was the wedding cake which I think was the biggest I have even seen in all the years I am shooting weddings.

Thank you Bela and Jigs!
